Brief Description:
Software Technology Park (STP) provides business incubation facilities for IT/ITES, BPO and KPO enterprise development by providing necessary infrastructural support. STPI provides infrastructural facility like high speed internet connectivity, 24x7 power supply and other basic facilities to attract the IT Entrepreneurs.
Government of Tripura is setting up Software Technology Park (STP) at Lichubagan Market Complex and another at IT Complex cum STP at Indranagar, Agartala. Objective of this initiative is to promote IT Industries in the State and also to create employment avenues to the IT educated youths. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for setting up STP in Tripura has been signed between Software Technology Park of India (STPI) and Department of IT on 25th Sep’14.
The STPI centre will be owned, executed, implemented & operated by STPI under the guidance of its Governing Council. A Committee with representatives from STPI and the State Government are monitoring the implementation of the project and planning various modalities for making this place a preferred IT destination.
Tariff for rendering incubation facility in these two Software Technology Parks would be as below:
1. Raw incubation service @ Rs. 10 per sq. ft. (Excluding electricity and internet bandwidth)
2. Furnished Plug & Play incubation @ Rs. 3000 per seat (Including electricity and internet bandwidth)
